Ramesh Raja developed his knowledge and passion for traditional architecture by diving into the nuances of traditional architecture and ideas while pursuing a Ph.D, in traditional housing.

With profound insights from his research and a visionary approach, he established large townships that combined timeless wisdom with modern requirements. Ramesh Raja's foresight and relentless devotion drove Mayan builders to the forefront of Tirunelveli's building sector, establishing them as the best in the business.

In 2003, our founder, Ramesh Raja, embarked on his first project, Thirumal Nagar, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. Infusing his vision with a blend of traditional design elements, Ramesh Raja meticulously planned the layout of Thirumal Nagar. By prioritising affordability without compromising quality, he pioneered a township of 350 residences that stood as a testament to his innovative approach. Thirumal Nagar rapidly gained acclaim, becoming a coveted destination and reinforcing its status as one of Tirunelveli's top-tier locations.
